Mushrooms, Peppers & Old Cheese Egg on Whole Wheat English Muffin

Saturday morning is the one morning in the week that I have time to make a real breakfast, so I always try to make something a little bit special. Well, more special than my typical cereal or oatmeal. Here’s what we had this morning. Can you tell which was mine, and which was Kevin’s?

Honestly, these pictures should represent our food personalities. At least he’s getting his vegetables… and the English muffin is whole wheat although you can’t see it there with all the stuff on top! I have to sneak these things in.

wowzers both look delicious!!!!! puts my peanut butter toast to shame! haha. i like this idea of avocado on an “egg mcmuffin”

last night i made stir fry and ryan ate it. its like the one meal with veggies i can guarantee he’ll like, but i have to keep the veggies simple otherwise he will pick around them. he did not, however, like the thai noodle salad on the side. so complicated…!

Haha! I can TOTALLY relate! Kevin picked off probably half of the red peppers, but at least he ate some. And I always know he’ll eat all the mushrooms. Honestly.

I love the combination of egg, avocado, and tomato (or salsa!) – I usually throw it in a wrap but it looks great as a sandwich too! Yum =D
